Drumroll please....we are now at 38 weeks!! The baby could come anytime, which is scary and exciting all at once!At my 36 week appt, the cervix was starting to soften and thin, but there was no dialation yet.
At 37 weeks, I was 50% efffaced and 1 cm dialated. the dr. said she was very happy I had made progress and that all the work my body does now is just less work I have to do during labor.
Thursday Josh and I noticed I could breathe and the baby is finally out of my ribs! You know what that means, the baby has dropped and is now in position (happily it's the right position, the head is down).
Monday we will go for our 38 week appt. and see if we have made any more progress. It could happen any time now....we're so excited.
It's so cool to get these reports and watch my body do what it is supposed to do. This really is a miracle and as odd as it is to go through it, it just feels so completely natural and right.
We are so excited to meet baby Gremer and can't believe how fast this pregnancy has flown by! Hopefully the next post will be the one post Josh does on his own announcing our newest bundle of joy!
Love to all,
Sarah and Josh

CRAZY CRAZY CRAZY! Crazy to see you soooo pregnant. Crazy that our body knows exactly what to do. And crazy you are going to be a mommy very soon! Luke makes me laugh everyday. I can't wait to share all these stories with you and meet the little one around Thanksgiving. Now go pack your hospital bag!
